Music

From liquid drum and bass collaborations to soulful acoustic tracks, my music tells stories of emotion, growth and connection.

My Music Journey

My journey with music began in childhood, shaped by moments of raw emotion and deep connection. I remember crying behind my mum while listening to powerful performances on X Factor, feeling every note. I took my first flute lessons at 9, sang in school plays, and picked up the guitar in hospital when I was 13. It became my way to keep going during illness when I couldn’t move my body much—playing music gave me something to hold on to.

By 18, I was stepping into open mics and recording tracks, sharing pieces of myself with others. Listening to sad music as a teenager was cathartic for me, and that emotional depth has shaped my style ever since. I’m drawn to any emotion, though—I love artists like Cat Power who embody honesty and vulnerability in their sound.

Music for me is rules with no rules—a way to express myself freely, connect with others, and share the difficult things that words alone can’t hold.

Favourite Projects

One of my favorite projects was creating a music video with my friend and aerialist Rosie. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a start, and I loved blending movement and music in a visual way. Another highlight was recording my EP at Black Bay Studio in Scotland, a stunning residential studio where I could fully immerse myself in the creative process.

A truly pivotal moment for me was performing live for the first time in La Gomera. I’d asked to play a piano in a lounge, and the host invited me to perform that night. When I stopped singing, the room went silent, and I panicked—until they clapped. It was a moment I’ll never forget, realizing the power music has to hold people still.

My Music Today

One of my favourite songs I’ve written is Who Am I Now. It’s deeply personal and still resonates with me—it’s about my dog Jay, written after he passed, in the midst of heartbreak. Right now, I’m working on a video and song that captures the process of creating music, and though it’s challenging, I’m excited to see it come together.

I think what makes my music unique is its honesty. I aim to express my truth with every note and lyric. My voice has been described as soothing, honest, and true, and I hope it creates space for connection and understanding.

Aerial Silks

Aerial silks is a breathtaking yet incredibly challenging art form. Every movement requires strength, precision, and practice—and I’m still on that journey. While I have a lot to learn, I’m dreaming big: I hope to one day create my own choreography, blending interpretive dance with aerial silks, set to one of my original songs. It’s a vision of art and movement coming together, and I can’t wait to share it when it comes to life

Visual art/ painting

I don’t consider myself a traditional artist, but painting has always been a way for me to play with colour, texture, and flow. Each piece is an exploration of what feels good in the moment—a blend of colours I love and shapes that resonate with me. While I don’t follow any rules or formal techniques, I find joy in creating something that feels vibrant and alive. It’s less about perfection and more about the process of letting go and seeing where the brush takes me. Looking at them now, I see that they each hold a kind of unique energy, and I’m proud to share them with you.

Collaborations

Collaboration has been one of the most exciting parts of my creative journey. Working with talented musicians and producers has allowed me to explore new sounds and bring my music to life in unexpected ways. Here are some of my favourite collaborations so far:

Mat Roberts
Mat and I have a simple yet powerful dynamic: he plays guitar, and I sing. Together, we focus on creating soulful, stripped-back pieces that let the raw emotion of the music shine through.

Black Bay Studio
“Recording at Black Bay Studio was a transformative experience. Their team crafted a big, beautiful arrangement around my vocals, taking my ideas and elevating them into something cinematic and full of life

Nightwolf
Working with Nightwolf has been an incredible journey into bold, atmospheric soundscapes. His intricate arrangements created the perfect foundation for my vocals to explore raw emotion and storytelling. Together, we crafted a track that feels both cinematic and intimate, blending electronic textures with human vulnerability. It’s a collaboration that pushed my creative boundaries and resulted in something truly special.

Writing and Lyrics

Who am I? Now you're gone
When rain clouds clear, bright skies beckon
I hope one day I come to reckon,
That the days past, were all for reason

In the heat of the moment,
I did things, I regret
Wish I could erase
We forgive and forget

In death there is space,
Fresh air to breathe
I stop looking forward,
Pausing as you leave
I hold onto your scent,
Like your eyes clutching me
Afraid of the fading of your gentle melody

In absence something is found
An appreciation of my love,
an infinite bond
I dwell in the memory of your smile
A sanctuary of tearful rest

And I open myself to the pain
And bitterness turns to zest
Bitterness turns to zest

Writing has always been my way of making sense of intense emotions and thoughts that feel too big to hold. By putting them on paper, I give them purpose and clarity, transforming them into something I can share with others. Who Am I Now is one of those moments—it flowed out of me during a time of specific, vivid emotions. It feels like I truly captured what I was feeling in that moment, something rare and precious.

The notebook you see here has been with me for years, a gift from my aunt that I’ve always found beautiful. It’s where I collect fragments of myself—raw, honest, and sometimes messy—but always meaningful.

Future projects and dreams

The future is full of possibilities, and I’m excited to bring some long-held visions to life. One of my biggest goals is creating an aerial silks music video—a project that blends strength, grace, and storytelling. It’s a journey of growth: building the strength and skill for the routine, choreographing a piece that captures emotion through movement, and pairing it with a song that feels deeply personal. Whether I create a new track or choose one from my existing work, I want the result to feel like an extension of my soul, told through both music and motion.

Beyond this project, I dream of a life rooted in creativity and connection. I imagine traveling the world, exploring cultures, and drawing inspiration from the people and places I meet. Eventually, I hope to settle somewhere close to nature—a piece of land where I can build a home and create a space for community, collaboration, and art. A place where music, aerial silks, and other creative pursuits can flourish, shared with others who value beauty, freedom, and expression.

Each step I take today is moving me closer to these dreams, and I can’t wait to see where the journey leads

Behind the scenes

My bedroom is the heart of my creativity—a space where ideas are born, nurtured, and brought to life. It’s where late-night thoughts turn into lyrics, dreams inspire melodies, and quiet moments at the piano or guitar transform into something tangible. Every corner of this room holds a piece of my process, from writing in my notebook to recording vocals or experimenting with new sounds.

Even the video I’m working on now—my first music video—was filmed right here, making it not just a creative space but part of my story and identity as an artist. It’s personal, intimate, and imperfect in the best way, a reflection of who I am and where my work comes from
